21st Annual Gathering (2012) @ Lime Rock Park, CT, Labor Day Weekend
2011 was to be the year for the Honda Sports Registry's 20th Annual Gathering. The only problem was that due to our friends Irene and Lee (hurricane and tropical storm, respectively) we had no electricity, no running water, no lights, etc. for what was supposed to be our big bash to celebrate 20 years of Gatherings. (It eventually ended up taking place on an inconvenient weekend in October, where turnout was exceptionally low.)
This year, we ARE going to have our BIG celebration since we missed out last year! We have been invited by Ryan McIntosh, Marketing and Sales Assistant at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, CT to hold our 21st Annual Gathering there in conjunction with their Historic Festival 30, Sunday in the Park Concours, and Gathering of the Marques. We will have our own meeting area, itinerary, and the ability to show our cars to a wide audience.
Sir Stirling Moss is not only the Honored Guest for the entire weekend of racing that makes up Historic Festival 30, he's one of the judges for the Sunday in the Park Concours!
